Kiki's Delivery Service Image Album – Joe Hisaishi Vinyl LP

Joe Hisaishi wrote this image album before Kiki's Delivery Service was finished, to capture the mood of Miyazaki's story. It's often described as sounding "somewhere around the Mediterranean," and many of its melodies grew into the film's final score. The 12 tracks range from the playful "Mother's Broom" and "Tombo" to the sunny "The World Is Wide" and "The Bakery Window." This 2020 Studio Ghibli Records pressing has new mastering and soft watercolor jacket art: Kiki at her mirror with Jiji on the front, and Kiki flying on her broom on the back. It comes with the obi strip, and it's a charming companion piece for fans of the film's music.
